Delete Your Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your WeLocation account and the personal data associated with it. WeLocation is developed by Tran Tai.

Request deletion: email [email protected] and we will delete your account within 7 days.

1. How to request deletion

Email [email protected] from the address on your account (or include your account ID, e.g. K7P2QX, shown under My account in the app).
Use the subject line “Delete my WeLocation account”.
We verify the request comes from the account owner, delete the account, and email you to confirm — completed within 7 days.

2. What gets deleted

Your profile — name, username, email, password, and profile photo.
Your live location and your location history.
Your friends, friend requests, and groups.
Your messages and greetings.
Your game rooms, safety-alert settings, and app preferences.

3. Data retention

Location history is automatically deleted after about 7 days during normal use. After account deletion, remaining personal data is removed from active systems immediately and purged from encrypted backups within 90 days. Purchase and subscription records (for any Premium purchase) are handled by Google Play and may be retained by Google where required for tax or accounting compliance; they are not stored with your personal profile.
